Synopsis

Hanna, a woman living in 14th Century Sweden hears that her husband Ulf is returning from fighting in the Crusades for four years. She sets out to meet Ulf at the coast. On the way she encounters Joel the Fisherman, a young girl and a young boy. When she finally does find Ulf, he is in a near coma from smoking opium.
