In my opinion 'This is Spinal Tap' is the pinnacle accomplishment of Christopher Guest's collection of cult-labeled mocumentaries (Waiting for Guffman, A Mighty Wind, Best in Show). I would compare Guest's style to that of science-fiction …more»1 of 2 people found this review helpful-

These guys did so good spoofing the british rock/metal world. This definatly is a classic that will never be forgotten. The pure idiocy of all of the band's members was so funny and believable too.
