If this wasn't a classic and it didn't have the excuse of being outdated, I would say it's garbage, but it's the first of its kind, and it's more entertaining than most old horror movies. Worth a peek if you're into creature flicks and you want to honor one of the ones that started it all. 2.5 stars out of 5
