The Words(2012)- User Reviews

Intriguing, involving, thought provoking, visually striking, well acted and... a darn good yarn.
Before I continue... My last two reviews did not post. I tried to contact the folks (as they say) at Yahoo, but couldn't find any contact information. Can you believe it? I tried sending an email, but received no response.
All right. Back to the review. What is a person willing to trade or to sacrifice in the name of success, achievement or prestige? What is a human relationship without integrity-- and what, after all is that? What do we mean to ourselves and to others? What feelings do we choose to express and how, when or why do we forgive? -- and in the name of plain old survival what must we conceal or contain? When do we move forward and when do we withdraw? I am nearly sixty years old-- and just now these questions arise before me. And I ask myself, what is it? A beast? A saint? A wall or a door?
This movie went to my core-- and as deep as I may go I can not purge this pain or discover any reason within. And, believe me, no medicine in the world will help me to understand or to sustain any sense of purpose or design.
This movie managed to conjure up a lifetime in a few hours-- in the dark.
I need a drink.
