The Woman in Black(2012)- User Reviews

REFUND PLEASE!!

star11

I was so excited to see this movie, the trailer looked great and I love a good movie. I had high hopes since Daniel Radcliff was the star but sadly I was so dissappointed. Where to begin?

Ok here is my complaints:

: No story line what so ever

: Left me confused about the little boys real mother , was he adopted or died at 7 in the marsh?

: Who was the woman in black, her name? well you get the point.

: Boring, hubby actually fell asleep!

This was a typical creep up behind you and go boo film,,,,,,,, yawning.

The ending was really lame and for those who haven't seen this movie that want to go I won't spoil it for you but I really urge you to save your money for a movie worth the money to see it.

The only thing I will say about the ending is the last words" we will never for give". Forgive who and for what?

REFUND PLEASE!!!

Can we say "spoiler alert" for the people who haven't seen it yet, MatthewH? You act like every one has already gone out to see it. I'd like to read reviews WITHOUT the ending being posted.. Thanks for ruining it.

I had no problem believing Radcliffe playing a widower and father. Remember the era in which movie takes place. People married young, women often died giving birth. And I thought he did an outstanding job portraying a somber, more mature character. I liked the movie and it did make me jump and clasp my hand to my mouth more than a few times. However, and I don't want to give anything away, I wasn't prepared for all those gruesome scenes involving the village kiddies. Yikes.

Creepy!! I still feel the affects of the "woman" when I go to bed at night. Sounds crazy, but I feel it was creepy and I would not have seen it if I had viewed the trailer first...well then again, I might have. Creeeeeeeeeepyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!

i like honest reviews of movies. if they stink someone should say so, so you dont waste your money. if hollywood losses money, then maybe they will put out better movies.

Great movie, literally screamed out loud at least 3 times. Go see it, who cares if the only reason your going is because you like him in Harry Potter!

There isn't any animal sacrifices/abuse/death in this movie is there? I noticed a dog in one of the clips.

I loved it! I am not a horror picture fan and this movie isn't over the top blood, guts and gore and has a great story. If you are expecting extreme terror or over the top graphics this movie doesn't have that, but what is does have is a good story that's well acted and enough spooky scenes to keep you on the edge of your seat. My son and daughter had a great discussion about the ending on the way home. It was well worth the ticket price!

I did not like this movie at all. It was boring and dragged on for what seemed like hours. I don't know if it was just me but the movie really had no plot and was hard to follow. I am a big scaredy cat when it comes to horror movies but, I was able to watch this all the way through without even jumping or screaming once. IMO don't waste your time or money seeing this movie.

I have yet to see this movie but your comment about you being a "disciple of horror movies and this movies is Jesus" is very disrespectful to those of us who are disciples of Jesus Christ. Regardless if you believe in Jesus or not you should at least have the respect for those who do. That comment means to me that you think Jesus is evil and the creator of things evil and vial like this movie may seem to be. I don't like that. Cause i know he's not. but if thats how you feel then fine. But i pray to God that you find out who Jesus is before you die so you don't burn in hell for all eternity.
