The Wolfman(2010)- User Reviews

I saw this movie on HBO due to when it came out I wasn't able to see it in the theatre.

I am a avid science fiction/comic book/fantasy/horror movie fan.

The story was a good attempt at revamping the Wolfman mythos. But there were flaws. The story with his brother should have been expanded upon. The audience should have gotten to know him better as we should his father in a normal way.

By doing so, the audience would have been shocked by the revelations that occurred later in the movie.

The actors were on par. They couldn't have picked a better wolf than Benicio Del Toro. He pulled it off great.

The makeup itself was scary enough. I remember seeing the photo of Mr. Del Toro in his wolf makeup at 1:30 a.m. about a year before the movie came out. It scared the bejesus out of me. It had an unsettling effect on me for a few days after, especially at night.

I would like to see a second movie where Mr. Weaving's character becomes the wolf since...the curse lives on.

It is great fun and a starting point for a better attempt.
