I have seen this movie over a million times. Lon Chaney Jr. plays the best wolfman, just like Bela Lugosi makes the best Count Dracula. I watched the remake and I would have given it 4 stars.

Lon Chaney Jr. wasn't Oscar-worthy, but he sure did act amazing as the Wolf Man in this horror noir classic. Honestly, the Wolf Man isn't the most popular image in classic horror, but he's one of them, and widely known with low direction.
