I Can only agree with all the great yahoo members' reviews of this classic western film..and maybe add a few things...when it was limitedly relesed and re-rated by the MPAA...it was given the NC-17 rating...which some say is the recycled X-rating...which says alot for a movie that was made more than forty years ago...maybe it's the amount of violence in it...or the nudity...or both..but the acting is top notch and so is the directing..i love this film ...on a personal note... the only 2 movies i have seen Ernest Borgnine play a bad guy ...and play it amazingly well....are this one and "Convoy"...and both movies directed by Movie Maverick Sam Peckinpah
