What I loved about this movie is..... You know how you meet someone and they seem shy and reserved? And then one day they totally surprise you by doing something out of character for them (at least in your mind). This movie has this element in it, knitted into a story of compassion, concern, care, and a giving of the heart, which should be our goal every day as individuals. If all of us modeled ourselves with this heart what a nicer world we would have. It also shows the immigration struggle. At a time when immigration is such an American issue we see what happens when you don't always follow the rules. Even though it makes the U.S. look bad, I considered what would have happened to me if I had been found in Syria illegally. As a movie and a story, I walked out of the theatre with a feeling I haven't had in a long time walking out of a theatre. To my husband I said, that was a really good movie and he agreed.
