The Visitor(2008)- User Reviews

I took a chance on The Visitor because of RottenTomatoes's rating, and I can happily endorse their 100% rating. The story is impeccable, and Richard Jenkins delivers the role of his life as he transforms before the audience's eyes with believable emotion and passion. The interplay between his character and Tarek's mother, played by Hiam Abbass, is wonderful as the two characters explore their relationship through their shared hardships and journeys. It causes the viewer to truly think about what it means to be American and, more importantly, human.
