This movie got it right. Although NYC might be a sanctuary city, ICE has the right to go into jails and look for undocumented prisoners and take them, and the city is not able to stop them.
This movie makes America look good because it shows that although …more»8 of 9 people found this review helpful-

Don’t be fooled into thinking this unusual story is a comedy. It is a dreary political piece depicting Americans as callous and indirectly advocating open boarders. All of the illegal immigrants speak English fluently and embrace our culture. All US citizens …more»6 of 19 people found this review helpful-

As he proved with his first film as a director and screenwriter, 2003’s “The Station Agent”, Thomas McCarthy knows how to convey the fine line between solitude and loneliness in his characters’ lives with an emotional preciseness …more»18 of 21 people found this review helpful-

Now why would one want to go see a movie about illegal aliens, when we are living it everyday, being overrun by them especially here in the South. Skip this drama!more»0 of 1 people found this review helpful-

I took a chance on The Visitor because of RottenTomatoes's rating, and I can happily endorse their 100% rating. The story is impeccable, and Richard Jenkins delivers the role of his life as he transforms before the audience's eyes with believable …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

Saw this today in the theater. The story unfolds nicely, has unexpected turns, sincere heartfelt acting, like all great movies you really begin to enjoy it hours after you've seen it after your mind takes over. I feel wonderful supporting independent …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful
