The Twilight Saga: Eclipse(2010)- User Reviews

Eclipse was my favoirte book out of the saga and I had high expectations for the movie--they were all met or surpassed! Melissa Rosenberg and David Slade did an outstanding job incorporating all of the fantastic scenes from Meyer's novel. There wasn't much missed from the book, however, I thought they could have touched more on the imprinting aspect. In terms of acting, pretty much the same as we've seen-Riley was fabulous, and I actually liked the new Victoria for the most part. I still don't care for Kristen Stewart's acting, but Billy Burke brings the best out of her--their scenes are truly good. Rob Pattison and Taylor Lautner are of course nice to look at, and they did a good job in their roles. The actor that played Seth Clearwater was very memorable as well--and I love Dakota Fanning as Jane. The visuals were a little lacking in terms of the wolves, but overall, they were good. As my title suggests, if you are a fan of the book, you will not be disappointed--you will LOVE the movie--it is so good!!!!
