This was the first one that I have seen after reading the books. I feel that maybe it is better to see the movie first on this series. I did love seeing the "old gang" again, but the laid back, slow, scenic views of Forks seemed rushed in this 4th installment. Basically like this, the other three movies had foreplay and this one was just wham bam thank you mam. The other reviewer said that it felt rushed. And I felt the same way. Even many of the action shots were so chaotic you could not make out the characters clearly. I am happy I saw it because I love the series. But I think that fans were robbed of an awesome movie. Three hours might have done it justice. The movie depended so much on the book, the script seemed elementary as well. Lots of one liners. The actors embody the characters perfectly. But they cannot help a poorly written script. Visuals are great. Maybe by Part 2 the script will be more sophisticated. We like to see the book turned into a worthy screenplay, but we also appreciate a few creative liberties.
