Synopsis

Young Native American Rosalie is hitchhiking when she meets a man named Virgil and falls for him. She persuades Virgil to give her a ride to her home, far into the New Mexico desert, and once there, lets the air out of his tires and breaks one of his legs so that he cannot escape. Rosalie takes care of Virgil as he recuperates and he has no choice but to stay, until a biker arrives with the intent of robbing them.
