This movie was excellent, and very sad. So her husband lied on her, so he could divorce her, so he could be with another woman? Thats really stupid. And what made it so bad is that both those men lied on her, and there was nothing she could do about it. In that country, the men have all the rights, the women have no say so over anything. That is very bad. I feel sorry for Soraya, she was a beautiful woman who did not deserve to die, she did nothing wrong. Watching this movie also made me mad, it would make anyone mad. Even the man she was helping lied on her in defense of his son not having to go to an orphanage? At least he would still be living, but this young, innocent woman had to die. And the way they killed her was horrible, i cried so much. It makes no sense, it was barbaric and insane to kill someone like that. Why not just shoot her or something easy? Something needs to be done about how women are treated in that country, it is ridiculous! Stoning someone to death should not be legal in any country. But overall, very good movie. RIP Soraya.
