Synopsis
An Iranian man, Sirus, has an affair with a married woman, Shabnam. When they are found out, both are arrested but Shabnam is stoned to death, while Sirus is sent to jail. He escapes and flees to the Netherlands, where he begins life anew. There he attempts to start relationships with two women, but the trauma of Shabnam's violent death leaves him weighted down by guilt and doubt.
