What a tremendous waste of talent. Michael Caine drifts through what could have been an astounding role. Tilda Swinton never seems to understand her own character. Everyone else in this forsaken mess seems to have no concept of how his or her character relates to any other character, or to the story, or to the plot. It's pretty sad, too, when you realize that George Lucas can write more intriguing dialogue. The direction is pathetic, as is the editing. The only suspense I felt was when I checked to see how much longer was left in this uninspired fiasco.
