The Sorcerer's Apprentice is yet another surprisingly good family movie in 2010. They just keep coming. It's entertaining, and Jay Baruchel is a lovable protagonist. Worth seeing.more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

An ancient sorcerer and his modern day college aide join forces in NYC to prevent bad sorcery from releasing evil spirits from the past.
Veronica and Baltazar are the good ancient spirts while Morgana and Horvath are not.

I knew I was going to see this movie and was pretty sure I would like it, it wasn't too far from what I expected....
It's a decent summer movie that is better than others but a little lacking in what it could have been.

I never intended on seeing this movie too much, but I rented it anyways because the other movies in the Redbox were crap. Thumbs up to this feature length film starring Nicholas Cage and Alfred Molina. The CGI effects really help in bringing this movie "alive", as well as the fast moving story was a delight.
