Marilyn Monroe really could act. She wasn't just another pretty face. And she was very funny. Nearly fifty years old now, this movie still stands up with tame, gentle humour any adult can enjoy. It was originally filmed in colour, rather than fall victim to colourization, and the DVD release offers two deleted scenes. One of them had Marilyn Monroe in a bubble bath. Overall, a delightful romp that may have bothered the censors in its time but today could be broadcast on the Family Channel.
