...in many ways like Anna! I grew up surrounded by fabric, patterns, notions and Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, McCalls and Seventeen were monthly rituals in my home where my mother was a dressmaker. The fashion, the photography, the images and the models all made Vogue required viewing. Vogue unquestionably had the ability to whisk me away to magical places as a girl, but as I grew, I required a magazine that also grew with me and met the needs of not only my fantasy life, but my real world life too, and so, I had to leave Vogue behind. And that is the problem with The September Issue - it is less about fashion, and more about marketing to a world that it does not value, a world of questionable value.
