I think that this movie is best seen at a midnight showing where actors perform along with the action onscreen. It is one of the greatest experiences of my life. Actors will stand in front of the screen and perform exactly what is happening, even getting every hand gesture with perfect timing. The audience also joins in, adding funny jokes at appropriate times during the film. For example, during in the time warp, when the lyrics are "put your hands on your hips", the audience says "or someone else's" and puts their hands on a friend's hips.
yes, the plot is ridiculous and the acting is laughable. however, i believe that there is no better experience than seeing rocky horror at a midnight showing with a group of fun friends.
