Well done...Movie and Book!

Saw the movie 1st, then read the book. Dark, gritty, chilling, depressing BUT, without a doubt a very "realistic" rendering of struggles in the end of times. My vision of "what" could possibly be was very close to this story. McCarthy is an excellent writer and I found his style much different than anything I have read. This story is certainly a departure from the standard "post-apocolyptic" story line.

    Agreed. Six people in my family saw this movie together, and all of us have different tastes in movies. Not one of us found one redeeming quality in this awful movie.
