Overall B+ movie, the B- is just because most of the movie is gray, but it's the end of the world. The book is great if not better. Mortensen, Smith-McPhee, Theron, and Duvall's role could not have been played better by any other movie stars. Movie succeeds with a powerful message about the relationship between a father and his son.

    Agreed. Six people in my family saw this movie together, and all of us have different tastes in movies. Not one of us found one redeeming quality in this awful movie.
