This is not your typical John Wayne western. In fact is isn't a western at all. Well, maybe western Ireland. But this is still one of his best roles. He plays a man who realizes that fighting for what you believe in is not only right but absolutely necessary if you want to still feel like you are worth anything. Maureen O'Hara gives a oscar-worthy performance as the love interest and the direction and visuals are outstanding. Definitely rent this one.
