The Proposition is easily one of my favorite westerns. This film is not for the faint of heart. It is very violent and gritty and does not pull a single punch. This film deals with three irish brothers who are very different. (this is not a brotherly love film) One brother is young and timmid, the other is older and a sadistic bastered, and last but not least is the likeable one. (played by Guy Pearce) I highly recomend this film to people who love westerns and brutal ones.
