They say that this is the remake of the original Lady Snowblood which was made in Japan in the early 70's which also inspired the Kill Bill series. This movie was a pathetic attempt to cash in on the hong kong movie genre, and to me it was a complete waste for Donnie Yen (The Man who hollywood continues to overlook for Jet Li) to even lend his choreography to this film. The beginning sequence was about the best, from that point on a complete snoozer.
