The best thing about this biopic of Lou Gehrig (played humbly by Gary Cooper) is that it also stars Babe Ruth as himself. Gary Cooper was a great actor, and does a wonderful job of playing Lou Gehrig. Teresa Wright performs beautifully as well. This is a heartwarming and inspiring movie, despite the sad ending.
