Perez Family is quite different from any other movie I've seen. It has a nice engaging begining which develops into a wonderful plot. Its about two Cuban refugees who came to America for two things. Doritta Perez came for freedom and a chance to make love to John Wayne (later though she finds out that he is...well...dead!!) And Juan came to his wife who waited 20 years for him to get released from Cuban prison. But at arrival something goes wrong and the two have to admit they are husband and wife in order to stay in America. Later they form a bond which leads to a story of very funny events and twisted plots.
Its by far one of the most beautiful and sexiest performances by Marisa Tomei. If you like Romance Movies and love to see more of Marisa..I highly recommend..Only You, Untamed Heart, and Happy Accidents.
