The Odd Life of Timothy Green(2012)- User Reviews

This movie had the potential to be an incredibly magical tale instead they dropped the ball.Timothy was just an ordinary boy that happened to appear overnight. The Green's are a bit of an underdog family, every member being taken advantage of occasionally by the reigning family of power in town. The story starts out at an adoption agency where Mr & Mrs Green begin to tell their story of Timothy. Had they played the more magical side of possibilities they might have been able to pull this off but Timothy lived an 'ordinary life' aside from his arrival. The saving grace of this movie was the cast. They were wonderful - a perfect fit with one another which was what prompted me to go with a 3 star rating rather than a 2. Overall it was light hearted and somewhat whimsical with the perfect cast members just not enough creativity with the details of the story.
