The New World(2005)- User Reviews

After being disappointed in the recent past, it is nice to find a film that works on so many levels. Usually pieces like this are plagued by 'Political correctness'. That goodness Kevin Costner wasn't involved here. My wife and I didn't feel we were being manipulated. It simply told a story of a remarkable woman who lived in two worlds. The cinematography was beautiful, simply artistic at times. I must buy this in DVD when it comes out since I know there must have been scenes I didn't appreciate this aspect or that.
