Anyone who was expecting a thrilling and exciting plot has never watched a Muppet movie. It's an endearing movie about saving and rejuvenating a classic set of characters with a warm and fuzzy message. I love Jason Segal, but early on, the movie was in danger of becoming anything BUT a Muppet movie. The plot line surrounding Segal was made to be too big, because every Muppet movie is supposed to be about the Muppets with minimal help from humans. Oh, and the rap song by the villain was needless, and just bad. What really saved the movie for me was Kermit's early and persistent acceptance of Walter as one of the Muppet, a kind message consistent with earlier Muppet movies. The movie is worth seeing multiple times but it doesn't quite reach the status of "classic".
