The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor(2008)- User Reviews

While I love the cast of The Mummy movies and their chemistry, this movie held too true to the mantra of sequels-"Give them what they know". Alot like the first movie in feel...so much, I never felt any anticipation. I felt like I had seen it before the first time I saw it. But still, it was nice to see the cast back together...minus the original actress as Rick's love interest/wife. Could have been better than it was. Based on a great idea, but executed too safely, trying to stay too true to the franchise instead of taking a risk and go for gold. A fun watch for die hard Mummy fans...
