This is one of my favorite films.
The movie is typical mystery genre, but the volume of star power and filming location, bring a warmth, endearing and, sentimental feel to the film.

I just have to give the Director credit.
Working with Elizabeth Taylor at the time was rumored to be a tough gig.
This great group of actors carry the movie all the way to the end.

Elizabeth Taylor is beautiful, Rock Hudson is wonderful, and I loved Angela Lansbury as Miss Marple.
I remember, at the time hoping she would make more movies as Miss Marple.
Of course she did not, but she did become Jessica Fletcher on Murder She Wrote.

I cannot explain why I love this movie so much, except maybe by saying,
"it's like a being with old friends again."

Cook up some popcorn, open a bottle of wine,
light the fireplace, and watch this movie with some of your old friends.
You will not be disappointed.
