Was this the worst film ever to hit the screen? The acting was amazing by the all star cast but for what a piece of crap story about a hopeless loser and a mind control freak. The ending was like lancing a boil, merciful and quick!

If this movie was meant to tell the Scientology story I don't know how accurate it was because the audience never really got 'processed' into the ideology of the Master. The story is basically about a hopeless misfit, alcoholic loser with suppressed rage and sexual anxieties and his buddy story that develops between himself and the Master. Once this unholy alliance begins the film devolves into mind f&%$ games between these two. Not only are the followers of the cult left in the dark but the audience is forced to witness this weird self serving relationship build into absolutely nothing while hoping to at least get a glimpse of the underlying ideology of the cult! To say this movie suked would be too much an understatement. I believe it is grounds for a new cinema code of conduct to save ticket buyers from being mind F&**ked by #$%$ like this somebody in Hollywood needs to go to jail and pay some hefty fines.
