The Lovely Bones(2009)- User Reviews

So I went into this movie thinking it would be some awkward teenage murder flick, but it really wasn't. It's a true story about moving on and the deep connection with feeling something more after death. I was disappointed that the killer didn't get caught and the family didn't get the justice they deserved, but sometimes life is life that. You will not always get an answer and sometimes you just have to accept things and move forward. The visuals and sound were spectacular in this movie, such a perfect example of what I feel like the "in-between" looks like. Simply beautiful. I cried at the end thinking about how the family changed and how I would feel if I lost my sister. This movie is good for a person who's recently lost a loved one, a good remembrance that if you do not move forward, then they cannot either.
