I cannot believe these people; I don't think they can really critique this movie if they don't have a deep understanding of cuba, its history and people. Sad because this move is amazing, one of the best I have seen; a great portrait of CUBA!more»1 of 2 people found this review helpful-

I have yet to see this movie, but plan on doing so. As a Cuban who came with my family at the
age of 6 I would love to see what it is my family
had to endure during this period in history.

I was insulted by this poor excuse for a movie. The characters were not developed at all and the acting was poor. I never forgot that I was watching actors receiting memorized lines. And how many times can we watch Garcia fighting back his tears. …more»2 of 6 people found this review helpful
