Which isn't fair at all seeing as this came out in the 70's.

OK, so the Lord of the Rings books are amazing, and the actors were not at fault for the horrible depictions of the characters and creatures, but the depictions of all the characters in the story are so horrible that I cannot stop laughing at many points …more»

story is good and it follows the book of however the animation takes away from it a whole lot, these lazy people didn't even go to the trouble to animate the orcs but rather put people in stupid costumes and then filmed them walking around.more»

Yes I know this movie is a very old movie and that they didn't have all that advanced technology, but they could have done better! The lord of the rings books were just so great, and they screwed it up by making it into a cartoon.more»
