Don't love Arnold as a rule, but really liked him in this role

People in the audience really got into this movie. It was in fact a fun ride through humor and violence, but it was the kind of violence that I can deal with. Bad guys get what's coming to them from a bunch of misfit good guy types, led by a retired toned down macho sheriff. I'm Irish! I like a good brawl.
Arnold is not the overwhelming, muscle bound, macho man he once was. I find that refreshing. The great equalizer has hit him as it hits us all; old age. Perhaps I like him better for accepting it with grace and moving on.
