Although the film is the trite and typical action thriller and you will find nothing new "The Last Stand" is well produced and entertaining,the film's narrative is crisp and fast moving has good action sequences, is humorous, violent, and good performances especially by Arnold. The only complaint I have is the last fifteen minutes which turned kind of silly with the hand to hand combat stuff. . Don't let the liberal critics who like to slash, slash anything perceived Republicans appear in and the Arnold haters deter you from seeing the movie as it is a better than the average action thriller that should please Arnold fans and action fans.
