    @ Michael K.: Have you at least read the book?? What makes you qualified on giving a review on this, if you haven't at least read the book? Michelle Yeoh is a very good dramatic arts actress. I guess you have never seen Memoirs of a Geisha, The Soong Sisters or The Children of Huang Shi. Do your homework before making personal remarks. I can't wait too see this movie!

      tracy.. it doesn't make anyone of us qualified even if we had read the book. My post wasn't about the movie, or the adaptation of the book, but about the casting of michelle yeoh. just because you thought she was good in those other movies doesn't meant the same for me. i only see her as a veteran actor not a good actor and certain not good enough to play Aung San Suu kyi. Let's see if she does such a good job to be nominated for her potrayal. please don't judge whether or not you think i have seen the movies you mentioned.
