I went to this film expecting to get another great performance from Streep and it was delivered. The plot and writing however was an unbalanced treatment of the life of a great woman. Concentrates on her decline and old age, with some limited coverage of her early career. I expected lengthy flashbacks to her family life and political achievements, with some of her great speeches, but was disappointed with just a few distorted vignettes.
