Meryl Streep is utterly fantastic. The film's message, though: if you're a woman, don't try to be successful and powerful, or you'll lose your mind and be able to think of nothing else but a man you lost. We went hoping to learn something about British politics during the 70s and 80s, particularly since what they were going through when she became PM was somewhat similar to what we in the US are going through now. We went hoping to see a film about a woman in power, but ended up watching a faded romance film. Bleck.
