So far from reality and legitimate historical accuracy that it doesn't begin to warrant recognition. Lady Margaret Thatcher is one of the most important figures in modern history and the manner and method that her legacy was approached in the film, and the surprisingly weak performance by Meryl Streep, simply missed the mark by a great deal. Awkward and clearly uninformed monologues completely out of genuine context added to the film's complete failure to capture what was, or may have been, the purpose...honoring one of the greatest leaders in world history.
