I am overwhelmed by the performance of Meryl Streep as Margaret Thatcher. The intensity of the portrayal deserves an Oscar for best actress.
I thought the movie absolutely outstanding in the portrayal of Margaret Thatcher as a human being and being victim to politics. The movie is slow moving but is psychologically intense. I left the theater absolutely speechless. I enjoyed the interplay of using her late husband and her memories to introduce segments of her life as she struggled through the mourning process and letting go of him.
I give this movie an A+ and will certainly watch it again.
