Fantastic job my Merle Streep other then that the movie was a total failure....Not enough content on accomplishments of Margaret Thatcher, a total injustice toward her tenure as Prime Minister...Very slow and way to much bouncing back and forth of dotage …more»1 of 1 people found this review helpful-

I dont know why stories about such great people have to focus on the depressing parts.
Clearly MT had a full life and the dementia was not something she could control. Meryl was amazing as usual. The makeup was also very well done. The story however …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

The script had serious problems and the pacing of the story was abysmal. The ending had the entire audience, literally, looking at each other and saying, "Seriously?" Overall, it was a sad attempt to smear what history has judged to be an incredible …more»3 of 5 people found this review helpful-

I'm a huge fan of Meryl Streep and I have admired Margaret Thatcher for quite some time now (even though I don't quite agree with some of her decisions while in office) so it was a no-brainer for me to go see this movie.
I wasn't completely …more»2 of 2 people found this review helpful-

And they wonder why the family wasn't happy about the movie???
Is the most un-respectful (don't know if is a real word) way to portrait Margaret Thatcher.
The movie is a collection of bit & pieces, does not explain nothing in deep; not the story behind …more»4 of 5 people found this review helpful-

Some members of the audience clapped when the movie ended. I took it to mean they were as happy as I was that the movie ended. My wife said she thought they liked it more than we did.
My wife and I both thought the movie was not only too long but boring …more»3 of 4 people found this review helpful-

Average performance by an aging actor.
The Iron Lady is a surprising and intimate portrait of Margaret Thatcher (Meryl Streep), the first and only female Prime Minister of The United Kingdom. One of the 20th century's most famous and influential …more»0 of 2 people found this review helpful-

She was cheated out of JULIA, let's see if we rally round
MAGGIE as we should.
It is such a treat to watch her genius at work after a year of
lack luster films produced for ,I assume, for a young audience.
.With the age of the general public becoming …more»2 of 2 people found this review helpful-

Hollywood and Merell Streep are too far to the left to honestly be able portray Margarette Thatcher. They made here life seem circumstantial, and just a product of her father and two figures they don't really go into. They didn't really portray the …more»5 of 6 people found this review helpful-

In everyone's life you see one boring movie. This was it. My husband and I had trouble staying awake. It was such a disappointment. Save your money. The only good thing was the makeup on her. It was really good. The way it jumped around drove …more»1 of 3 people found this review helpful
