Big tobacco fought for years to bury the facts behind niccotine's addictions and vise-like grip on the nation's smokers. Crowe as Dr.Wigand is superb, deserved Oscar more for this role than Gladiator. Pacino terrific as Bergman the producer of 60 minutes who convinces Wigand to testify. Plummer great as Mike Wallace the non-wavering newsman who extracts the facts. Compelling and intriguing true story that pulls you in.
