2 stars because it was an enjoyable movie. But only 2 because there is no need to see this is theaters.

If this movie was released 8 years ago (at the height of Criss Angels's career) it would have done great. But it seemed to be way behind pop culture, no one cares about Vegas magicians right now, at least not like they did 8-10 years ago.

I thought all the actors did great. The story line was predictable and pretty slow. Jim Carrey was funny and captured the stigma of Criss Angel very well. There is really no hard hitting comedic moments however. I chuckled at a couple scenes, but there wasn't any laugh out loud moments. For that, it fails as a "good" comedy. But it is still entertaining.

I'd suggest not wasting your money on this movie at the theaters, but it would be worth renting in a few months.
