This superb film with great acting perfectly captures the descent into hell that can follow questionable and self-serving choices made by anyone of us. While the vehicle is a political campaign in the pressure-packed last few days before an election, the film's appeal is that we can see and understand what happens when well-meaning, intelligent and somewhat naive people succumb to temptation, make mistakes and then begin the almost inevitable attempt to cover up their guilt. It is a very sobering picture.
