The Ides of March(2011)- User Reviews

Since this was a political movie and knowing George Clooney was behind it I knew there would be some ill thought out political commentary (“No vehicles with internal combustible engines will be produced in 10 years.” “Fair share”) so I put that aside. I really like the four main actors but the story was just weak and the ending made my wife and I say is that it? It was filmed in March (for the story anyway) so it was understood that it was bleak but the film was very dark. It was also without any humor. It appeared like Clooney just wanted to make a political movie so he made one.
