The Hurt Locker(2009)- User Reviews

AS someone who did not serve in the military, I had the feeling of the movie being contrived. I'm sure there are EOD guys who take chances but their not as cavalier as in the movie although there is such a thing as creative license. I did not get the feeling of realisim which I got with 'Saving Private Ryan'. That was REAL. I saw the movie with my now deceased uncle who WAS at OMAHA BEACH and I asked him later 'how was it' and he said "it was just like that". I will side with the military people who comment on this movie as it not being true to the real facts
